Forming part of the Bel-Art Plush Microstirring family, Bel-Art Polygon Spinbars are made of a Teflon PTFE blend impregnated with liquid Nylon, which offers an excellent suppleness and a slightly higher reversal tangential speed. Inert and chemical resistance allows these stir bars to be used in nearly all types of media. A pivot ring is placed around the outside of the polygon, and this ring, along with the surrounding liquid Nylon, provides a fulous stir without a central pivot point. The shape of the polygon allows many types of attachments, including magnetic stirring needles, tapered magnetic stirring bars, magnetic stir bars with one handle, magnetic stir bars with two handles, and the magnetic stir bar with two handles. Each is encapsulated in FDA grade Teflon PTFE.
