This Digital Camera from Celestron is among the first to offer ultra-fast USB 3.0 connections combined with the most popular Sony CCD chips used for planetary imaging. The Celestron Skyris Camera also features a Celestron-designed camera body which helps dissipate heat to minimize the effect of thermal noise on the CCD. This Celestron Digital Camera is made with the Sony ICX618AQA CCD Sensor that is perfectly suited for planetary imaging due to its speed, sensitivity, pixel size, and chip size. The Celestron Skyris 618 Digital Camera comes complete with iCap Capture Software which allows you to easily control the camera, snap your images or movie file, and export them.
