Do I understand I have to be at least 25yds away to shoot .22 long rifle standard bullets? I want to shoot in my basemt at say close pistol 3 to 5 yds

Do-All Outdoors recommends 25 yards as a safe distance, as the lead rounds hitting the steel back plate will fragment and can still ricochet and potentially cause injury to users standing too close.

catches everything you hit it with :) I wrapped mine with a wooden box 4" around it on all sides filled with playground plastic to reduce the noise. The whole package became quite heavy in the 60 pound range so I move it with a two wheel cart.
