Product Info for EZE-LAP Knife Sharpening Stone with Pouch

Multi-use sharpening stone is unaffected by water, oil, or dirt. Stays cleaner than a diamond-polish stone. The high-tech medium exposes new layers of bonded diamonds to the abrasive surface. The new layers get stronger and closer together, ultimately producing larger facets for a sharper, more precise edge. Large diamonds can produce a greater amount of metal per slab of stone. Large and smaller stones can be "stretched" over a ceramic base for a faster, more efficient sharpening response. The diamonds will "self-stimulate" during use, gradually restoring the cutting edge until the blade is restored to its original condition. Larger stones will 'strike' or 'bevel' the knife, removing burrs or stones in the sharpening process. Large stones are also good for sharpening large or pointed tools like scissors, knuckles, scribes and hobby tools. Assorted colors mean nothing if youre on a camping trip, or a working vacation and you want to impress your friends with your new sharp knife skills.image
