Does this mate to the factory receiver? doe it fit in the factory chassis? Manufacturer Answer

Yes, this barrel can fit a factory Ruger 10/22 receiver. It is a bull barrel so it has an outside diameter of .920" and will require a chassis or stock that has an inlet for a .920" diameter barrel. This is the same diameter as factory Ruger bull barrels so most chassis systems and stocks designed to fit a bull barrel 10/22 will accommodate this barrel as well.

Barrel looks great. Nice heavy barrel. Exactly what I was looking for. Note you will have to modify your standard10/22 stock if it had a “pencil” like barrel due to the profile but defiantly worth it.

This barrel is sweet. Fit and finish are nice. Installation was a breeze. This will be my plinker rifle, so I love the fact that it will take all types of 22lr ammo and is not the target/match breach.

We believe that firearms bring people together and create generational memories. Since the 19th century, the .22 LR has been a perennial favorite for beginners and seasoned shooters alike. That's why we're excited to bring you everything you love about Faxon Firearms AR and pistol barrels to the beloved "22."

As with all Faxon Barrels, the "Faxon Rimfire" line is made in-house at Faxon Firearms Cincinnati facility from raw bar stock, and undergoes the same rigorous testing and quality control measures that have made Faxon Firearms AR and pistol barrels a market favorite.

These barrels are made from 416-R stainless steel, given 6 Groove Rifling at a 1:16 twist, and a Recessed Target Crown. Barrels are Magnetic Particle Inspected, and are finished in either Salt Bath Nitride or PVD.

To give these Faxon Rimfire barrels Faxon Firearms unique touch, we have adapted 3 of Faxon Firearms most popular barrel profiles from the AR platform to rimfire: Pencil, Straight Fluted, and Faxon Firearms patented Flame Fluted profile.

Faxon Rimfire barrels offer weight-savings to typical factory barrels for 10/22.
