The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Spring Bag (9000) features standard springs with up to 100 PSI working pressure, is made with quality materials, and comes in a standard single convoluted design. Compressed Height is 6.25", Extended Height is 10.25", and Ride Height is 8.25" Compression is controlled by the spring's internal adjustment mechanism. When the spring is fully extended, the bag stores energy until it is needed again. When the spring is fully compressed, the bag deflates and the compressed volume remains the same. The ride height does not change. When the spring is fully compressed, the bag expands to its full size, and the reduced volume is returned. When the spring is fully expanded, the compressed volume is the same as the standard size. The reduced volume will be recompressed, and the compressed volume will be recompacted, so the ride remains smooth.
