The GearWrench Drive 6 Point Standard & Deep Impact SAE/Metric Socket Set are a 6 piece combination socket set of standard and deep impact sockets that have a ratcheting function. With impact sockets, there is a greater need for impact sockets as opposed to standard, as the impact side of the socket can be damaged by torque. The increased surface area of the metal, combined with the durable Cr-Mo alloy steel of the GearWrench Impact Socket Set allows for greater durability and strength than previous incarnations of the tool. The off-corner loading reduces fastener rounding, which in turn, can increase productivity. The black oxide finish allows these Sockets to resist corrosion and resist rusting. The easy identification of sizes via laser etching and secondary hard stamped markings allows the user to quickly select the correct socket, every time.
