The Sig P320 Compact is a durable 9mm sub-compact handgun with unique capabilities that makes it a very viable option for self-defense or duty use. The SIG P320 Compact is a very adaptable platform and can be purchased with any of the GGX barrel lengths and several different back-up barrel lengths. However, in order to truly make a SIG P320 Compact a duty or competition ready platform, one needs to ensure that the barrel is long enough and has the chamber to properly feed 9mm cartridges. In order to insure that the barrel will function as one would expect in a true precision barrel, one must fully de-cap the slide and port the slide into the chamber, cleaning everything up afterward. We have successfully accomplished this without adding material or spacers since the barrel is one of the first items to go into the gun. In order to do this, any of the barrels need to be fully cocked and locked back in order to get the pistol to fully function. Our match barrels chambered in 9mm have a SAAMI spec. match chamber. Therefore, when paired with one of Grey Ghost Precisions 9mm Match chamber springs, the pistol will function just like a full auto pistol; however, with the proven reliability and firepower of a match barrel, the only way to reliably obtain full function without a proper match barrel.
