This precision ground cast iron Mini Vise centers workpieces so they always stay exactly in line with each other and precisely square to the table. The cast iron shank tilts for full support and is suitable for a wide range of benchtop woodworking machines including many mini lathes. The screw-tight screw mounting system ensures that this Vise will remain firmly in place. The mini centering vise includes a cast iron and steel stop collar with nylon slide adjustment. Make sure the machine you're clamping is similar in size to ensure a good fit. If you're mounting to a bench that doesn't have a self centering vise, this Vise is not a waste of time - add the centering capability of a larger vise and you'll get a much stronger and more stable setup.
