Heinie Cross Dovetail FRONT GI Units are designed to match any of Heinie's Dovetail Barrel Bushing slides. This eliminates any unnecessary bulk that can get in the way of a good shooting experience. Heinie Cross Dovetail Ramps are designed with a nice wide square notch. This allows the operator of a cross-drawing to have a nice wide swath across the top of the sight picture. It eliminates any snag that might get in the way of a good shooting picture. All that's left to do is to give the operator a nice high snag free picture! Since dovetails are inherently difficult to shoot, only one end of the ramp slides over the slide at a time. This results in the operator having a nice high hammer bite in the middle of the sight picture. It eliminates any potential hammer bite that could get in the way of a good sight picture.
