Product Info for Helix 6 Precision Button Rifled Carbon Fiber Rifle Barrel Blank
This button rifled carbon fiber barrel blank is perfect for the shooter who desires a lightweight, rugged barrel that provides better accuracy than an equivalent steel barrel without the added weight of a bull barrel. Proprietary carbon wrap process encapsulates the barrel interior and exterior, forcing air to pass between the carbon layers. The barrel interiors are then "buffed" to a glass like finish, forcing nitrogen to expand within the barrel, forcing the hot gases out and away from the shooter body. Nitrogen forces the carbon fibers within the barrel to expand and circulate cooling air throughout the barrel. The result is a lighter weight, cooler running barrel with exceptional accuracy. Harmonic dampening within the barrels carbon layup design results in a reduction of harmonics within the barrel, improving accuracy. Stainless 416R rifled cores are proven to provide the most uniform bore for match grade accuracy. Each blank has a button rifled chamber, lapped bore, and dry lapped bore ensuring concentricity, increasing accuracy.
