Great item from Hogue, as usual. Only complaint I have is universal to most AR grips, too thin. These grips can use the storage compartment blocking plate universal (proprietary?) to the Hogue grip system. I love these grips as these are far superior...

Grip itself is decent. Matches up pretty cool with my OD green lower. However, there was no bolt for install included which is ridiculous.
picked up the black and grey thought I received the wrong color and performed an exchange and got the same result seems to look more fde and od than blk gry well built and solid great grip and texture but if your looking for black just buy black

Hogue G10 AR15 Grips, Piranha pattern are made of G10, a high-pressure thermoset plastic laminate consisting of multiple layers of woven fiberglass mesh cloth impregnated with an epoxy resin binder. G10 means that grips like the Hogue G-10 Piranha Grips for AR15 / M16 can be produced with many layers of the same color, or different colors to achieve a specific cosmetic look. Typical G10 is made of only flat layers. Hogue Inc. has a new, patent-pending method of producing G10 material called G-Mascus. This method produces different patterns within the colored material which produces a unique look. This material gives the Hogue G10 Piranha Pattern Grips for AR15 & M16 a similar look to Damascus steel - hence the name "G-Mascus". Hogue G10 AR15 Grips, Piranha pattern is part of Hogue's unrivaled selection of G-10 grips and mainspring housings.
