Our precision machined G-10 Maggrips feature a strong, comfortable, fiber reinforced polymer panel that gives a significant improvement in grip control over molded G-10 frames. G-10 allows for greater strength than other polymers and the high density polyethylene (HDPE) material provides a unique look and an aggressive texture. G10 allows for machining on a large scale with a great number of texture patterns to choose from. G10 allows for a wide variety of material combinations to be produced. Hogue's patented G-Mascus process creates unique patterns within the colored G-10 material, resulting in an appearance similar to that of G-Mascus or G-Mascus composites. The distinctive appearance of G-10 is achieved by a complex series of steps during the manufacturing process, resulting in a perfectly uniform material with an optimal level of toughness and durability. This material gives the Maggrips a strong, positive, non-slip surface throughout the entire Maggrip. G-10 is a high-pressure thermoset plastic laminate consisting of multiple layers of woven fiberglass mesh layered in alternating color layers. It is created to provide the kind of surface that a knife or small hammer would have had.
