With a decorative look, this replacement Parts 732545 from Lippert Components includes a grille and speaker. This vinyl replacement part is designed to fit over the idler fan gear (comes with plastic pinion gear) and directly replaces the head cover of a traditional (Classic) open impeller awning. When the motor runs, the gears engage and the head cover moves, causing the air to pass over the speaker and causing the speaker sound to be heard inside the awning. The act of driving the impeller also causes the air to flow over and through the head cover, causing the sound to be heard inside the awning. The air passes through the head cover and moves through the canvas material, causing the fabric to sag. Once you find the right tension, the head cover will stay in place and you won't have to worry about it coming loose or falling off.
