Product Info for Motorola Desktop Weather Radio

Motorola Desktop Weather Radio w/NOAA and SAME functions for more versatility. The simple to use weather radio provides early warning to ensure you are prepared in emergency situations. Displays alerts in the digital clock area in addition to siren and voice alerts. It has extensive back up power which keeps you informed even during power outages. The Specific Area Message Encoding (SAME) technology allows you to filter out emergency alerts outside of your county. When the SAME alert function is on, the radio will automatically play emergency weather/public alerts for your local area. Program up to 4 favorite locations. There are 76 types of alerts, including weather related alerts, civil emergencies, hazards and child abduction alerts. You can disable alerts that you prefer not to receive. You can also tune in to AM/FM or NOAA weather channels. Use the headphone connector to listen privately and avoid disturbing others. The alarm settings let you choose to be awakened either by your favorite AM/FM radio station, by the latest local weather forecast from the National Weather Service or simply by a buzzer alarm. There are two individual alarm settings for your convenience and a large snooze button when you are not quite ready to start your day. Product dimensions: 2.3x7.4x4.7 inches.
