The Spring Assisted Knife is a new series of knives from MTech that features a high quality stainless steel blade and a unique spring assisted mechanism that enables the knife to open with minimal effort. The spring force is achieved by the compression of the blade spring and the compression of the opposite end of the blade spring, which creates a leveraged effect, forcing the blade open with minimal effort. The stout design of this knife yields a great balance between blade strength and width, allowing for a powerful cutting edge and superior strength with a nicely defined "chop" between the blade and the frame. The textured and textured Glass-filled Tri-Center handle helps the hand locate the blade at all times, providing great control. Blade length of 3.5" stainless steel with a plain edge and coating, ensuring an excellent cutting edge. Black anodized aluminum handle with jimping for an enhanced grip.
