The Parker Compress-Align fittings come with a captive sleeve oriented correctly both before and after installation. The captive sleeve is there allowing you to make sure the tubing is being pressurized correctly each and every time. With the design of the Compress-Align fittings you can count on a leak proof seal with each and every application. These Compress-Align fittings have an operating pressure of 2800 PSIA (193 Bar). The fittings can be used with copper, aluminum and the following Parker Parflex Division tubing: Polyethylene, Nylon, Polypropylene, PTFE, FEP, and PFA. The threads on the body of the fittings are 1/2" tubing X 1/2 FEP, and the fittings have a Captive Sleeve. The Compress-Align fittings can be used in many areas where flare fittings are used due to the higher pressure rating. The bodies of the fittings are also interchangeable with standard compression bodies. When an application calls for the 68CA-8-8 style, you can't beat the precision of this connector. The degree of bend in both the Compress-Align and Compress-Slab can be tested by applying a pre-assembled gauge on the compression fittings just in case. What's more, the bodies are red plated carbon steel rather than the traditional brass fittings, and have a bright finish. The Compress-Align and Compress-Slab can be used in the following order sequence. Compress-Align bodies have a tighter seal and are easier to break than standard compression fittings, which often must be broken down and sent for service.
