No, the LG-426 isn't waterproof but the LG-426M is.

These laser grips (Sig 226) turned out to be waterproof. The battery compartment itself was O-ring sealed which is the waterproofing. From what I gathered in the very basic owner's manual, it stated a part number ending in an M (military) is waterproof. Hope this helps.
