Where can I find high quality barrel that’s sized for the new Sig .277 round? If such barrel exists, what size bolt - or are 277 bolts unique?

We do not sell .277 barrels, you may need to get one custom made.

This is only an extension, not a barrel.
the extension is used to put a custom barrel into your MDR chassis.

Prob have to ask desert tech. Their site doesn’t specify which calibers/bolts can be swapped in/out of the mdr. They encourage you to call

I’m confused I have the DT mdr in 308 Is this saying I can order and shoot from my platform, for example: 7mm, .270 , 270 magnum, 338 lupula? Thx

This is a custom barrel for the MDR but it’s just a barrel, you can only shoot calibers that have the same bolt face as 308. So you could do a 7mm-08 or 6mm creedmoor, even 338 fed or 375 raptor if you’re feeling crazy. But also consider the price of having the barrel cut to the caliber you want before you buy this, because that adds a quite a bit to the price.

is this for custom rounds like 6mm ARC?

Yes you could theoretically get this chambered in 6mm ARC but be aware that you would need to do modifications to a 5.56 bolt to make it work, there is a video on YouTube of an ARC conversion and he explains the necessary modifications there.
