Does this stock require a separate a2 buffer tube spacer and screw?

No, this will not fit a Carbine length buffer tube. It is designed specifically for a Mil-Spec A2 -Rifle length- buffer tube.

All standard QD push button sling swivel attachments are compatible as well as non-QD slings can be laced through the slits molded into the buttstock.
