The manufacturer states Hogue Remington 870 20 GA. OverMold Shotgun Stock Kit is only for 20 gauge 870's. Hogue Remington 870 20 GA. OverMold Shotgun Stock Kit may work for a youth model 16 guage but I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm compatibility.

The 16ga 870 new and old takes the same stock sets as the 12ga. Compare the magazine tube size if you have a 12ga and you will see what I mean. The stock is the same as the 12ga as well.The 16ga was built on the 12ga frame.
