The manufacturer describes the finish as "bright black" - who knew there was such a thing! It;'s a glossy finish, as opposed to a matte black. The product is as it appears in the photos. Kwik-Site is one of the grand old names in the industry, they had a small ad in all the gun magazines as far back as I can remember, they were founded in 1967.

Those rings are gloss black and should look just like the product image.
