1. Does it change colors when saturated? 2. If so, does it change to "Blue" or "Green" when saturated?

The silica beads are a light orange color when recharged. They will turn to a darker gereen color as they absorb moisture. The silica gel will continue to absorb moisture after they have changed color. Generally, the silica will protect 57 cubic feet for about 3 to 6 months in normal conditions before recharging is required.

Remove the lid and indicator from can.
Do not preheat oven,
place can in center of oven.
Set over to 225 - 250 degrees F.
Heat for 3 to 5 hours.
For faster recharge, spread the silica beads loose on a cookie sheet.
Allow to cool for about one hour and return to the safe.

Note that the product will begin to reabsorb moisture immediately, so consider placing it in an airtight bag or container until you return it to the safe.
