Measure the boots or shoes he plans on wearing with the overshoes. You can't base it off your typical shoe size. If I were to guess, he'd take XL. I wear a 13 boot for mushing and use a XXXL Overshoe

Need to measure the outside length and width of his shoes. The inside dimensions of the over boots are.
Medium = L 11 1/2”x W 4 3/8”.
Large = L 12 1/8” x W 4 1/2”.
X Large = L 12 3/4” x W 4 5/8”.
XX Large = L 13 3/8” x W 4 3/4”.
3X Large = L 13 7/8” x W 4 7/8”.
