I do not see the end of the tube. Does it allow for a quick release for a sling attachment?

The Hex-2 Buffer Tube is not designed to have QD mounting point for slings. It is recommended to go with an End Plate that accepts a push button swivel.

The Hex-2 Pistol Buffer Tube has the same inside dimensions as a standard carbine receiver extension, which is compatible with that upper receiver. BUT - you will need to verify with Stern Defense on the spring and buffer weight that would be required due to the caliber. Typically, this caliber will require a much heavier buffer weight and/or a certain spring.

Am I able to install this on my Palmetto state armory 5.56x45 AR-15 7.5" pistol? Or is this for the lower caliber platforms like 9mm or 45 acp?
