Is the fde color similar to magpuls fde? I was hoping it would match color.

As long as the AR10 has a pistol buffer tube then yes you may use this brace.

Does it fit on a standard 1.25 inch buffer tube or do I need to order the SB tactical buffer tube for it to work?

This brace works on standard "pistol" buffer tubes. Not to be confused with carbine buffer tubes which is about 95% of buffer tubes you will see.

No it will not because the M400 comes with a carbine buffer tube and this brace is made for a pistol buffer tube.
