It will handle any scope you can mount a vixen or losmandy style dovetail bar to that’s within the weight capacity. Absolutely NOT only for Sky-Watcher scopes.. I’m using this mount for my Celestron 8” Edge HD.

Since this mount grips a universal rail it can work for any brand telescope. It has a capacity of 44 pounds. We should try not exceed more than 60% of that capacity for long life and tracking accuracy. So if your telescope weighs less than 26.4 pounds. Since the g inch Meade LT OTA weighs 27.2 pounds, it is very close to the optimum at 61.8% of the capacity of this mount. So it will probably only last 20 or 30 years instead of forever. It should be a wonderful mount for your telescope. Mounts do not go by brand despite a previous answer to your question.

You can use most any telescope that fits within the weight requirements with the proper mounts. I will be mounting my Sony camera and zoom lens to it along with a guide scope.
