Will this work on a Ruger Mark two standard With four and seven eights inch barrel

The clamp-on mount clamps to the receiver, not the barrel, so it should fit any Standard, MKI or MKII model. It will probably fit the MKIII and MKIV as well, though those are all drilled and tapped, so the screw-on mounts are a better choice.
