My experience with these is that not Peltor they work ok. They keep the noise down to safe levels and I have been able to talk and still hear while others are shooting. Some say it’s hard to tell who’s talking with certain models I bought a 60 dollar pair for my kid and 100 dollars pair x2 for wife and her friends when they are with us. I prefer passive with in ear if I’m not running suppressors. They are quality they do work they will last. I have had good luck in the rain as well. Hope I helped

From my understanding there are a few models electronic and digital, the difference between them are that digital - better quality, you are able to hear where sounds are coming and their direction, where as electronic you are not. Then there is the styles, X Trm- which is upgraded mesh band and gel ear pieces. Almost forgot, each digital and electronic also has Bluetooth and non blue tooth models. So choose wisely as many sites do not have them listed properly with the name being misleading, the description being misleading, and also the picture advertised
