It is it z-folded, vacuum packed and has an x-ray detectable strip. The z-fold makes it easier to apply the gauze to wounds, while eliminating the risk of a roll falling away and getting contaminated. Save room on your body. Thanks to the vacuum packed feature, you can carry as many as you need in the field. Also, the x-ray detectable strip ensures the combat gauze will be found if the patient is taken to the operating room.
