Holster too small for intended use. - Uncle Mike's Barrel Autos Open Ended Holster

I selected the model 15 Uncle Mike's Sidekick to hold my 1911 compact and a couple other weapons with larger frames. It is a poor fit for all of them, despite being shown as for large barrel autos. The fit is too tight around where the trigger guard enters the holster. I was forced to return this model since it would not fit anything I own. Regrets. Also, another weak spot is the plastic belt loop. I have snagged and torn the belt loop in the past when exiting my ATV. However, the low cost makes me overlook this feature.
