This flash lite is smaller and lighter than any other 2AA flash lite I have seen. I love the fact it uses AA batteries. Time of ownership; one month.
The first default setting is low, 3 lumen. I prefer this because on my night hikes for operating devices; compass, GPS, camera, ectra, with out wrecking my night vision.
The rest of the settings are easy to navigate, although it took me a few times to figure out the sequence.
It's battery use is very efficient. I use NiMH rechargeables. Fully charged they are 1.3v, after a month of daily use (maybe 4 or 5 times on high a day) the batteries tested at 1.2v.
Rotating the head has proved to be a good interface. I prefer it to switch for a few reasons. Harder to accidentally switch on. Also here in Northern Wisconsin, traditional button switches can freeze in two ways; the button material becomes inflexible or something in the switch. Also, fewer access points for water.
Pros: weight to features, AA battery
Cons: none
