Warren's Review of 5.11 Tactical Rush Moab 10 Bag

*The Moab 10 feels very well made and durable. It has just enough space to store what you need for a medium length hike.

*The organization (especially the admin) is very well done and you can reach everything you need to without too much fumbling around. I don't carry but store my phone (Nexus 6, 6 inches across), keys, and pepper gel in the conceal slot. There are two inner pockets in the admin slot that I added Velcro inside the pockets to help hold smaller loose items there.

*The small pouch towards the top of the bag sits just below the top of your back. I keep a Kershaw 1776ST (4.5 inches closed) and Atactical A1S (5.4 inches) inside.

*The sunglasses holder on the top of the bag is lined with soft material and is a nice touch for those of you like me who wear prescription sun/glasses and carry both.

*The Moab 10 does come with a slot for a hydration bladder. I was able to fit a Camelback 3 Litter bladder after taking out the plastic shell backing in the Moab 10. The edges of the shell are rigid which makes it a little tougher to get out.

*Like others, the sling caused discomfort when hiking for 1+ hour hikes. I have a long torso and wide chest which may be why. I found and ordered a "Hazard 4 Slings and Messengers Stabilizer Strap" which helps greatly with that. I have seen pictures where some users have converted the Moab 10 to a regular backpack with way more skill, supplies, and determination than I do.

*There is a buckle clip on the bottom of the bag to hold a light jacket.

*If you are visually impaired like me (see above), the bag does come with four (4) rush tier system straps to attach it to other bags. I have read about some users MacGyvering the straps into a stabilization strap.

*There is molle all over the bag, even on the sling strap. I have weaved some shock cord into the upper molle to store smaller items.
