Unboxed: very comfortable and well made - Altama Maritime Assault Mid Tactical Boot - Mens

I'm a 10.5 (boot size) and ordered an 11 here, they fit great, so +1 for going a size up here. The rubber is a matte soft black rubber, with a very sticky sole on surfaces like wood and concrete. There's enough room inside to take the stock insole out, and put a custom one in, which I did. It appears to come with the same insole you'd get stock with any other military boot, just 100% rubber to be okay for water. The entire boot is virtually 100% canvas, nylon, which makes them very light and have a good air flow. It's a solid, thick piece of nylon and needs a little bit of break-in. I do a lot of standing, and walking on concrete out doors, so specifically bought these for summer wear.
