Don't waste your money - it will not fit! - Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Rifle Stock At One Savage 110 1st Generation Short Action Blind Mag FBC

I own an older Savage 110FP rifle in .308Win. My rifle was the first Savage to be called the 110 Police Tactical. It is the 1st Generation, Short Action, Blind MAG FBC rifle. This stock was supposed to have been made to fit this rifle!!!! This stock does NOT FIT on my Savage rifle. Right under and in back of the barrel nut, there is the barrel nut recoil lug. This stock has a block of wood where this barrel nut recoil lug should sit. I guess Boyd's Quality Control people MISSED THAT!!!!! Personally, I would have rated this stock a ZERO but the system would only allow ONE Star as the lowest.
