Chris's Review of Browning Trail Cameras Strike Force Hd Max

I've had this for a few months now, and have to say the picture quality is worse than some of the cheaper trail cams with less resolution I've had over the years. All pictures in the daytime are always a bit fuzzy, and the colors are exaggerated. Having a supposed 18 MP resolution, they're always very poor. For example, a typical daytime photo with oak leaves on the ground, tinges the whole picture in a bright orange-ish hue.

Night pictures are always blurred and fuzzy. We had a better quality trail cam near where we had this one mounted for about a week. From the pictures on the good camera, we thought we had someone tresspassing with there headlights on high, parked just out of screen. It turns out this Strike Force HD Max has a night flash so white & bright, it actually scares the game away. There appears to be no working "IR" flash, or no way to get it turned on if there is one. This thing flashes like a flashbulb on an old camera.

I expected more out of Browning, especially for the price. I wish I could return this, but since it's been a few months, I'm stuck with it.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this camera.
