Most Helpful Positive Review Burris 4.5-14x42mm Fullfield II
This scope is nice and bright! AO is a nice feature for target shooting. The light transmission sharpness of focus is outstanding. Love the shorter length when compared to other high power models. I would recommend it. Pros: Compact size for larger rifles Cons: None
Most Helpful Negative Review absolute junk
This is beyond a doubt the poorest optical piece I have ever used. As a trained sniper and a long range precision shooter with over 5 decades of shooting including F class. I would not recommend Burris optics to anyone. The scope I purchased a Fullfield II was broke and non adjustable right out of ...

Junk Full Field II

by NMBMILLER, from PA, United States Written on April 23, 2023
The first full field I purchased lasted 10 years then the reticle let loose while hunting. Sent it in and got it replaced and the new replacement wouldn’t hold adjustment. Sent that one back and got another replacement and now that one won’t even adjust to hit paper at 100 yards has a 16 “ spread over four targets placed in a group. Don’t even think I will get it replaced for the third time.

Great scope

by Vince, from MT, United States Written on March 24, 2022
Quite compact and light weight; super clear optics; parallax adjustment right on; eye focus easy and smooth.
I have used these when building a light-weight rifle. They have real nice eye relief and would be good for larger caliber rifles that "kick".
I use them strictly on my custom 10/22s however.
Pros:
  • well made & engineered
  • well made and great finish
Cons:
  • short distances front and rear for rings
Best Used for:
  • hunting, target shooting and spotting critters

by Tony, from CA, United States Written on December 24, 2021
Excellent scope and super clear. Perfect for rifle. I purchased the vortex scope and this Burris scope and compare this scope must better clear than vortex but both are super clear. They all good scopes for the price and quality can’t go wrong with it.

Hard to beat for the money!!

by Dave1320, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on May 27, 2021
I bought this scope to add to an 18" barreled Ruger AR556 MPR. It arrived well packed from OP and also well packed in it's box from Burris. I was impressed with the clarity of the glass and the reticle right out of the box but thought the proof was in the pudding. Took it to the range this past weekend and my impressions were strengthened. With nothing more than mounting it and adjusting it in the mount for eye relief, it was .5" low at 50 yards. With a few adjustments, it was dead on at 50 and 100 yards.

This is a hard optic to beat for less than $200.
Pros:
  • clear glass
  • good reticle
Cons:
  • None

Great product

by JH, from NY, United States Written on May 8, 2021
This is a great product at the price point it is. No it’s not a $1000 scope and if you want to shoot competition long range then you’re going to have to go up to a higher priced scope. All in all the optics are above my expectations for what I paid. The clarity is great, I was especially impressed in low light conditions. For the average hunter and target shooter this scope is great!
Pros:
  • Good clairty
Cons:
  • None

by Alan, Verified Owner from HI, United States Written on April 3, 2021
I put this 4.5-14x42 scope on my custom Remington XP-100, chambered in 7mm-08. I did'nt have time to sight in yet but I know I won't have any problem to zero-in. Awesome clarity. Burris quality bar non.My third Burris scope and still not disappointed. I use the scope only for hunting.

Scope use on magnum air rifle

by Paul, from NY, United States Written on March 18, 2021
I am using this scope on my Walther Parrus air rifle. It has strong recoil but I'm hitting my targets. Very clear. Holding zero very well. Very satisfied so far. These guns are known to destroy scopes
Pros:
  • cost
Cons:
  • Parallax a little long for my pellet gun

Feels well built. Clear glass.

by Jonathan, from CA, United States Written on March 15, 2021
I put this on an ar-10 on 308 in a vortex mount. I love it. It works great out to at least 250 yards. It has held zero so far. I recommend this scope to anyone. I am very pleased with the purchase. When compared to the vortex crossfire, I feel like this works just as well, and maybe feels slightly higher quality. In my subjective opinion, I like this Burris better.

A minor criticism is the magnification adjustment is difficult to twist. Im planning on getting a lever to adjust it easier.
Pros:
  • well built
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • medium range hunting
