Waste of money
I was unable to test these in the store before buying them, so I decided to trust a popular brand name.
Big mistake, Bushnell does make some junk, and this is it!
At lower magnifications adjustments are easy and they are useable, except the field of view is greatly diminished, it's like looking through a paper towel roll, for quick scanning they are useless, so there's no point even having lower magnification settings, since that's what it's for. They actually have the same field of view for the entire range, from 7X all the way up to 21X,so there is no reason at all to reduce magnification, except in the following paragraph... :)
At higher magnification the adjustments are so touchy that it is almost impossible to get good focus even with one barrel, with both it is impossible. The depth of field is so shallow that they are unuseable. No point even having large magnifiation, as it can't be focused to show detail, which is what it is for.
The biggest problem, preventing me from even messing around with them any more to try and get around the poor design is the misalignment of barrels or lenses. Whenever I use them it feels like I'm going cross-eyed, my eyes are still sore from trying to get them to work a while ago, and the strain makes them unuseable even if all the other defects were fixed.
Overall these are junk, and they will be making a trip to the garbage can very soon, as soon as I stop crying about the money I wasted on them.
I had a knock-off pair fro...
