I was looking at this set of Bushnell Excursion's Binos vs the Nixon Monarch's. IT was very very close. The Monarch's were just a slight bit better on the long range, but it was so close that the extra money vs the Monarch's pushed me to the Bushnell Excursion. The $100+ dollars I saved allowed me to buy more hunting gear.The Neck strap attach very nice to the Binos, and move around with no binding. I was scouting and ran into a Bow hunter who had just broke his set of Monarchs. We were sitting on a hill top in Rain and I was letting him use my Excursions. He offered to buy this set so that he could hunt with some optics. I was scouting and he was hunting....so I did. I then asked how he like them vs his Monarch's. He felt they were just as good.
