The world of high end riflescopes is a good example of the theory of diminishing returns. Bushnell does not have a long history of manufacturing tactical riflescopes; yet, this unit turns out to be an excellent performer. It is made in Japan which speaks to quality, and it sells for nearly half the price of the comparable Leupold scope. I have used both and the Bushnell performs virtually equally. The glass is excellent, the build quality is solid, the turrets have a precise feel as does the magnification adjustment. One thing that this scope has that the Leupold lacks as well as the even more expensive comparable Night Force unit is a parallax adjustment down to 25 yards which makes it usable on small caliber rifles as well as high power air guns. The only minor criticism is that under low light conditions the first few rheostat settings for the illuminated green reticle are are a bit aggressive.
Pros: Excellent Glass with Excellent Built Quality
Cons: None
