Well reviewed general use binoculars and at the price of $70 you can let your younger kids use them and not panic when they drop them. I would buy them again at that price. No regrets. They weigh 2 pounds 4 and 1/2 ounces so not too heavy to carry on the strap around your neck. But the strap could be wider and padded.
Overall it was a good buy.

- great optics
- adjusts to boith eyes if they are different powers.
Cons:
- lens caps are only fair
- carrying neck strap is marginal, too thin
