So far, I’m impressed. For a sub-$400 LPVO, the glass is clear, the illumination is bright, and the adjustment clicks are crisp. The reticle is the real selling point. It’s first focal plane, meaning the reticle expands as you change the zoom, meaning it’s calibrated no matter what power you’re using it on. The reticle itself is a horseshoe-dot with MOA-marked stadia lines and a waterfall drift grid, which is pretty great. The 1x setting is clear enough to give a red dot-like sight picture, both-eyes-open aiming is totally doable (though not as good as an actual red dot). The only downside is eye relief. At 1-6x, it’s fine (mine is mounted on a fixed A1 length of pull AR), but at 7-8x, the eye relief changes and it makes it much harder to actually shoot without a longer length of pull. The eyebox also leaves something to be desired, at 1-4x it’s decent, but 5-8x it tightens noticeably. Combined with the eye relief changes at higher magnification, it’s sometimes a challenge to use.

Overall, I would expect this quality from more expensive binos that didn’t have a LRF. The glass is clear and doesn’t have any hue variation. The field of view is decent for a 10x optic. They’re not overly heavy or bulky. The soft case is nice and you can remove the straps if you want to stuff it in a backpack. The LRF works consistently inside of 600m, but you kind of need to get lucky to range something passed that. The object needs to be reflective and basically perpendicular to you (I ranged 2 cars at just over 1200m but it was mostly luck).

A great alternative to M193 if you’re not concerned about 5.56 ballistics. I shoot primarily on indoor ranges, under 100m, so this is a nice option. The boxes are also really tightly packed, with no plastic/cardboard spacer to hold the rounds in place, which means a smaller package and less trash to pick up.
