Ive used range finders for many years for many different reasons, hunting, range curiosity, golfing, target shooting the list goes on! My last vortex rangefinder took a bath so it no longer worked. After some research and some recommendations I decided to purchase this one, and Im not disappointed even in the least. What you get at such a good price point is the biggest plus. The clarity, focal adjustabity, and easy of use is just as surprising as the price. Ive used other range finders and discovered that changing the settings can be difficult the first few times you use it. This one is straight forward. The mode button on the side navigates you through your settings so you can adjust them to what you are wishing to achieve. The accuracy of it is very very good as well. Obviously I didn't measure out to 1k yards after ranging what I was looking at but out to 100 yards its right on!

The Astra ProA-1 can be used for both, and it comes with two different covers that I can easily change for different usage. Ranging is accurate and display is very bright even under low light condition. What a great value product! A must have if you play courses that don't have clear yardage markers and a lot of slope.

I was skeptical given the price, very happy I made this purchase. Glass is as clear as my Vortex Diamondback Binos! Even in low light this glass can see antler points on whitetails. The yardage readout is in the lower left corner and does not obstruct the view. The chest rig easily adjust and comes with everything my $100 chest rig from another company has. The buttons are easy to press and do not cause you to move off target. This one set of binos and rangefinder will be replacing two items I carry, so less things to forget and grab for. Modes are easily changed and once set will be there when you hit the rangefinding button.

If you take the price of the chest rig out this rangefinder binocular is only $400 which is way less than I paid for my current rangefinder and binos that are separate! Even if the chest rig was not included these are less expensive and well worth the price!

If this unit lives up to my first impressions it's a win. Compared to my neighbors vortex side by side its a much better unit. Light and easy to us. Looking forward to carring this tool. RANGE IS FURTHER THEN ANTICIPATED. Time to put it to my test in my world will update after season.

Fits like a glove and is much more useful than I would have imagined. The GPS locator option is awesome as well! Works great while min my truck or on the golf cart as it sticks to surfaces very well, must have for any astra product

The rangefinder was able to pick up the flag very quickly and with accuracy. My golfing partner, had a rangefinder at a much higher price, and we kept coming up with the same yardages each and every time.
Everybody’s rangefinders did struggle picking up the flag when there was a light fog layer present.
