This review isn't all about the issue with the BCG Release. This top portion address a question I've had.

I tried this on an Anderson Lower and an Aero M4A1 lower. If you're using a Geissele Maritime BCG Release, it will catch with this sometimes. Plus the extra size of the BCG Release makes it easy to accidentally hit the other release button on the ambi. This is a user error, no doubt, but something I had the money to throw at and test.

First issue is it tends to "stick" open as a result of the ambi side of the release either catching a corner of the lower or just the tensioner getting stuck. I tried a few things with it: Oil, working the mechanism, sanding the lower (A test lower I use for rough stuff), and nothing worked. The "ambi" feature is a hard one to tackle for all companies, have no doubt about that, but don't trust it on this one so far. Majority of this build I was doing was SI and Guissele (SI being the majority). This is the only SI part I've been disappointed by. The other issue I had was it felt like it didn't fit the lower well. I tried an Anderson and an Aero M4A1 lower with the same issue. When you try screwing it in, it stops after a while but feels like the regular press button sticks out farther than it should. An open design would let us put it to whats best for the end user.

Quick Disclaimer, I have not yet been able to fully set up the bag yet, but will update later when I do. Will also discuss how it holds up overtime.

This bag is great for light carry or a grab/go bag. The magazine pouches are tight but seem to work well. the water bottle/radio slot has an excellent adjustable velcro/elastic system that is quick and easy to set up. I am a bit confused on the handgun holster and setting it up but will just have to play around with it, it has multiple ways to use.

Overall, I like it. Best to keep near you in a room so if you have to leave quickly and can't gather items, you have some quick essentials ready there. It's not good for casual use (its obvious what it's used for), but performs well.
