Scope has clear glass zoom was ok. Unfortunately the scope I got was defective and would not adjust to zero. So I had to return it.

I will say I love the clarity of the glass and if the scope were assembled correctly there would be no issue with it, but that being said my first one that I received the parallax wouldn't work so in other words it wouldn't focus past 50 yards so I sent it back, the second one I received started coming apart after about 100 rounds the illuminated reticle stopped working, upon further inspection I found that the screws that hold together the electronics and battery had come loose so I used loctite and reinstalled everything. The scope is working for now but we will see if it falls apart some more. I would have returned it again but just didn't want to go through the hassle. On a second note the service from optics planet has been absolutely wonderful. I have 2 Mueller scopes that I have mounted on a 7mag and a 300RUM and they have seen several hundred rounds and never an issue this monstrum is mounted on a 308 and couldn't hold up to the recoil.

So I bought this scope on clearance for giggles to see if it was really shockproof, I did mount it on my Marlin GBL 1895 45-70, and almost 400 rounds later the scope is still holding together I load my own rounds and they are 405gr cast moving at about 1940fps so not powder puff loads.

Ok so the first one I got was a dud and wouldn't focus, optics planet replaced it for me and the new one I received is � absolutely awesome. I did what anybody would do when they get a new scope and I will say it's so clear I could almost count the hairs on the cows in the field at my neighbor's about 500 yards away. I have a couple of mueller 8-32x44 that I use to shoot long range and I think it's a close race which scope is clearer.

I bought one of these last year and waited to do a review. This is one very awesome scope! Very clear glass wonderful clarity even at 32x magnification. I have this mounted on a 300RUM anybody who has fired this round knows the recoil and this scope has held up to it I've sent about 200 rounds down range with it and it still holds tracking and zero from 400 yards back to 100 yards. I don't have a range around here to test farther out.

So the glass is super clear and the scope tracks well and looks awesome but as you zoom to 24x magnification the side focus is not able to keep up even at 200 yards it's even worse at 400 but if you zoom out it goes back to a very Crystal clear image. I usually run the Mueller 8-32 x 44 on my bolt guns and it's much better for clarity. Other than the focus parallax of the scope it's very nice.
