great day/night
Written on Nov 06, 2017
I use this scope hunting coyotes and raccoons at night and my daughter uses it hunting deer during the day. I love it. I recommend getting the external battery pack for the scope and using surefire batteries in the light.
When my daughter is behind the rifle I coach shot placement using the app. Works great as long as you must update the firmware before using it. Firmware updates are available at the atn website.
I bought the 3-14. The only gripe I have is I wish it had a larger field of view. For my purposes, a 1.5-9 would have been better for scanning at night. But I still love the 3-14.

Review for
Hornady Lock-N-Load Ammo Concentricity Gauge
I got this to check and fix concentricity of my federal gold medal sierra match 175gr bthp. Great ammo but I was getting fliers. Using this tool I learned that some boxes had all 20 rounds within .001" concentricity and other boxes were off by as much as .007". Both ends of the spectrum were fairly rare and the bulk of the ammo was around .003-.004" off. This made it easy to measure and fix all those factory rounds. For the price of 3 boxes of ammo (after tax) I was able to buy this tool and make all my rounds perfectly concentric. The result is MUCH tighter groups and the fliers are a thing of the past.
It came with parts to measure smaller and larger calibers but I don't shoot my 5.56 AR for precision and I don't own a .50, but for those out there who do you should be able to check all calibers.
