The fit and finish on this barrel are excellent. Unlike Beretta's threaded barrels (falsely advertised as "true drop-in"), this really is a true drop-in barrel. The locking block fit it perfectly, and the whole assembly dropped right in and cycles smoothly. It is a really nicely-made barrel, with a finish that matches the 92FS frame far better than the factory barrel did. A much better choice than Beretta's threaded barrel!
I have not yet checked its accuracy myself, but most reviews consider it an improvement. Then only quibble I have is that there is no O-ring under the thread protector, helping to keep it tight and ready for a suppressor to be fitted.

Sloppy tolerances, NOT drop-in like Beretta says

On Beretta's web site they claim that this barrel is "a true drop-in replacement" for the 92 series pistols. Then the fine print says effectively, "In rare cases minor gunsmithing may be required." Well, it is not rare, and it is not minor! This is a complete misrepresentation. The problem is in the location of the locking block, which is too far back from the breech for the locking block lugs to fit in the slide properly. You can drop it into the slide, but then the slide will not go onto the frame again because the locking block cannot fully seat. It is the result of sloppy manufacturing tolerances, typical of Beretta parts in the past few years. AVOID!! There are better choices for 92FS threaded barrels right here on OP.

Blade-Tech X0056 Phone Holster - A Frame
This holster attaches to the belt more securely than you can imagine. It will NOT let go! It fits the phone perfectly, and grips it tightly enough that it cannot fall out accidentally. I would prefer a retention clip over the phone, but realistically this holster is quite secure.
