I was skeptical, but this thing actually works. And it works well. Kids can use it. Dogs can’t use it, but you CAN use it on dogs (assuming the dog cooperates). Haven’t tried it on cats. This is such a simple product it will make you wonder why it took so long for humanity to design. This should have come before the wheel. You don’t have to try endless times with tweezers anymore. You don’t have to stab yourself with a needle trying to dig a tick out anymore. You don’t have to do stupid things like burn yourself or cover your arm in goo anymore. This product won’t add any weight to your backpacking kit, it fits anywhere, works on big ticks and the tiny suckers. God, or Allah, or Whoever made ticks and for a long time I thought that meant The Great Being hates people, but It created Man, and Man (eventually) made this simple tool, so now I just don’t know. If you ever leave your home, especially in Missouri, a tick will find you - DO NOT LET THE TICK FIND TOU UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE OF THESE! You might somehow get the tick off, but it will have already one, unless you have this thing.

Upgraded from a BCM stock and grip to the Hogue because I prefer the texture on the Hogue best. The stock fits snug with no wiggle or noise, and the grip fits my hand perfectly. As a plus, because of the overmolded rubber on the grip, it is comfortable to hold for long periods AND I can grip the rifle properly for rapid shots as well as well-aimed shots. The kit is lightweight and does what every stock and grip should do, at a better price than many others. The rubber should hold up well against anything you would normally put a rifle through, like patrols or ops, in any part of the world. If you normally use your rifle to fend off rabid packs of badgers, the rubber might not hold up as well as some of the polymers, but if that’s your concern just turn the rifle around and shoot the badgers... like you should have done from the start.
