Being new to cast iron cooking (and not a chef) I wanted to try this method at home after having blackened salmon in a restaurant.
I have access to fresh caught salmon having a son that fishes Lake Michigan regularly.
You will first have to "season" your new skillet; directions are available on the internet.
Once used the conditioner makes subsequent uses very easy.
