I recently added the Crimson Trace Chainmail III red laser grip to my Springfield Armory Loaded 1911. I didn't think anyone could improve on the feel that came with the gun's original grips - but I was wrong. The Crimson Trace grips feel great, are on target right out of the box, and actually look even better on the gun that the original wood grips. I don't like the fact that these grips require changing out the ambidextrous thumb safety on my gun but that is my only complaint.
